1. Thanksgiving for God’s Enduring Love Towards Children

Enter God’s presence with thanksgiving and praise. Thank Him for His unfailing love, mercy, and faithfulness towards children throughout the world. Praise Him for every child He has created and for the distinct personality, abilities, potential, and purpose He has placed within each one.

Thank God for the gift of childhood—for the children’s laughter, curiosity, imagination, creativity, and capacity to bring joy to their families and communities. Praise Him for preserving them, providing for them, and working in their lives even when His work is not immediately visible.

Thank God for King’s Throne Bible Club and for every child reached through its Bible lessons, stories, quizzes, prayers, challenges, and other programmes. Praise Him for everyone He is using to sustain and advance the ministry.

Bible Verse:

“O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.” — 1 Chronicles 16:34

Biblical Reflection:

When David brought the Ark of God to Jerusalem, he appointed singers and musicians to minister continually before the Lord. He gave them a song that recalled God’s wonderful works, His covenant, His protection, and His enduring mercy (1 Chronicles 16:7–36). Let us begin by remembering what God has already done for the children and giving Him the honour He deserves.

2. Prayer for Children to Be Delivered from Addictions and Controlling Habits

Pray for children and young people struggling with alcohol, drugs, smoking, gambling, pornography, sexual addictions, excessive gaming, unhealthy social-media use, or any habit that is gaining control over their minds and behaviour.

Ask God to expose the underlying pain, loneliness, pressure, curiosity, rejection, trauma, or negative influence that may have led them into these habits. Pray that shame and fear will not prevent them from seeking help.

Ask Jesus to break every physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual bondage. Pray that the children will receive appropriate counselling, medical support, rehabilitation, discipleship, and patient care. Ask God to separate them from people and environments that encourage destructive behaviour and surround them with trustworthy helpers.

Pray that their minds, bodies, time, relationships, and futures will no longer be controlled by harmful desires. Ask the Holy Spirit to replace destructive appetites with self-control, healthy interests, godly friendships, and a desire to please God.

“If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.” — John 8:36

Biblical Reflection:

King Manasseh became deeply involved in idolatry, witchcraft, violence, and practices that led the nation away from God. When he was captured and taken to Babylon, he humbled himself and prayed earnestly. God heard him, restored him, and Manasseh began removing the idols he had once established (2 Chronicles 33:1–16). Pray that no child will be considered beyond recovery. God can rescue those already deeply trapped and help them build a different future.

3. Prayer for Children Who Are Victims of Trafficking

Pray for children who have been kidnapped, trafficked, sold, deceived, or taken away from their families. Remember those forced into labour, domestic servitude, begging, criminal activity, sexual exploitation, armed conflict, or other situations they did not choose.

Ask God to protect their lives, preserve their minds, and prevent their captors from carrying out further harm. Pray that hidden locations, criminal networks, dishonest agencies, and everyone profiting from their suffering will be exposed.

Ask God to grant intelligence, courage, integrity, and success to law-enforcement officers, border officials, social workers, investigators, community leaders, and organisations working to locate and rescue trafficked children.

Pray that rescued children will be reunited with safe families whenever possible and receive shelter, healthcare, counselling, education, legal protection, and patient support. Ask God to heal their wounds and restore their confidence, dignity, identity, and hope for the future.

Bible Verse:

“Deliver them that are drawn unto death, and those that are ready to be slain.” — Proverbs 24:11

Biblical Reflection:

When David and his men returned to Ziklag, they discovered that their city had been burned and their wives and children taken captive. David sought direction from God, pursued the attackers, and recovered everyone who had been taken—young and old—without losing a single person (1 Samuel 30:1–19). Pray that God will guide rescue efforts and bring trafficked children out of captivity without allowing their lives and futures to be lost.

4. Prayer for Refugee and Displaced Children

Pray for children forced to leave their homes because of war, terrorism, persecution, communal conflict, political unrest, natural disasters, or other dangers. Remember those living in refugee camps, temporary shelters, unfamiliar countries, or overcrowded homes.

Ask God to protect them throughout their journeys and keep families together. Pray for children who have become separated from their parents or caregivers, asking that they will be located quickly and reunited with safe family members.

Pray for adequate food, clean water, clothing, healthcare, secure accommodation, documentation, and education. Ask God to protect displaced children from trafficking, discrimination, violence, neglect, forced marriage, and exploitation.

Pray that their host communities will receive them with compassion and that governments and humanitarian organisations will act with wisdom, fairness, and urgency. Ask God to heal the fear and trauma these children carry and give them the opportunity to rebuild stable and hopeful lives.

Bible Verse:

“He doth execute the judgment of the fatherless and widow, and loveth the stranger, in giving him food and raiment.” — Deuteronomy 10:18

Biblical Reflection:

When David and those with him fled from Absalom, they became displaced and exhausted. Shobi, Machir, and Barzillai brought beds, food, utensils, and other essential supplies because they recognised that the people were hungry and weary in the wilderness (2 Samuel 17:27–29). Pray that God will raise compassionate people who will see the practical needs of displaced children and respond generously.

5. Prayer for Children to Be Heard, Understood, and Taken Seriously

Pray that parents, teachers, caregivers, religious leaders, medical workers, and other adults will listen attentively when children speak. Ask God to remove impatience, harshness, prejudice, distraction, and the assumption that children’s concerns are unimportant.

Pray especially for children trying to report abuse, bullying, threats, emotional distress, health problems, or uncomfortable behaviour from an adult. Ask God to give them courage and help them find trustworthy people who will believe them, protect them, and respond appropriately.

Pray for children who struggle to express themselves because of fear, disability, trauma, language difficulties, or limited communication skills. Ask God to give the adults around them patience and discernment to understand what their words, actions, and silence may be communicating.

Pray that children will also learn to speak truthfully, respectfully, and clearly. Ask God to create homes, schools, churches, and communities where children can ask questions, admit mistakes, share concerns, and seek help without unnecessary fear.

“He that answereth a matter before he heareth it, it is folly and shame unto him.” — Proverbs 18:13

Biblical Reflection:

When the young Samuel heard a voice calling him during the night, Eli initially thought Samuel was mistaken. After listening and observing what happened repeatedly, Eli understood that God was speaking to the boy. He then guided Samuel on how to respond (1 Samuel 3:1–10). Pray that adults will listen patiently, recognise what is happening in children’s lives, and provide the guidance they need.

6. Prayer for Children to Learn Responsibility and Faithfulness

Pray that children will learn to carry out their duties without constant pressure or supervision. Ask God to help them become faithful in their schoolwork, household tasks, church assignments, promises, and responsibilities towards other people.

Pray that they will learn to care for their belongings, respect public property, manage their time, complete assigned work, and use money and other resources wisely. Ask God to deliver them from carelessness, dishonesty, wastefulness, laziness, and the habit of blaming others for their actions.

Pray that children will have the humility to admit when they are wrong, apologise sincerely, correct their mistakes, and accept appropriate consequences. Ask God to help parents and teachers assign responsibilities suitable for the children’s ages and guide them with patience and consistency.

Pray that faithfulness in small duties will prepare the children for greater opportunities, leadership, service, and trust in the future.

Bible Verse:

“Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.” — 1 Corinthians 4:2

Biblical Reflection:

As a young boy serving in the house of God, Samuel faithfully carried out the responsibilities entrusted to him. He continued growing in character and in favour with God and people. Eventually, the whole nation recognised that God had established him as a dependable prophet (1 Samuel 2:18, 26; 3:19–21). Pray that children will understand that responsible service in seemingly small matters prepares them for greater assignments.

7. Prayer Against Cyberbullying and Online Harassment

Pray for children who receive cruel messages, threats, insults, rumours, embarrassing images, exclusion, impersonation, or public humiliation through social media, messaging platforms, games, and other digital spaces.

Ask God to protect their minds from shame, fear, anger, depression, self-hatred, and thoughts of self-harm. Pray that they will not suffer silently but will have the courage to save necessary evidence, block harmful contacts, report the abuse, and speak with trusted adults.

Pray for parents and caregivers to understand the digital environments their children use. Ask God to give them wisdom to recognise warning signs and respond calmly, promptly, and effectively.

Pray also for children who participate in cyberbullying. Ask God to convict them, change their hearts, and help them understand the serious consequences of using technology to humiliate or injure others. May children learn to use digital platforms responsibly—to communicate truthfully, protect privacy, show kindness, and strengthen rather than destroy others.

“Hide me from the secret counsel of the wicked; from the insurrection of the workers of iniquity: who whet their tongue like a sword, and bend their bows to shoot their arrows, even bitter words.” — Psalm 64:2–3

Biblical Reflection:

While Nehemiah and the people rebuilt Jerusalem’s wall, Sanballat, Tobiah, and others mocked them, misrepresented their intentions, spread frightening reports, and repeatedly tried to discourage the work. Nehemiah prayed, remained watchful, corrected false reports, and refused to abandon his assignment (Nehemiah 4:1–9; 6:1–9). Pray that children facing online ridicule will receive protection, wise support, and courage to continue doing what is right.

8. Prayer for Children to Make Wise and Godly Choices

Pray that God will give children wisdom concerning their friends, education, relationships, entertainment, online activities, personal conduct, and future plans. Ask Him to help them consider the consequences of their choices before they act.

Pray that they will distinguish between what is popular and what is right. Ask God to give them the courage to refuse drugs, dishonesty, sexual immorality, examination malpractice, violence, dangerous challenges, and every activity that could damage their lives or harm others.

Pray that children will seek advice from godly and experienced people instead of depending solely upon their own understanding. Ask God to surround them with wise friends and protect them from companions who encourage rebellion or destructive behaviour.

When they make mistakes, pray that they will accept correction, learn from the experience, and choose a better path. Ask the Holy Spirit to guide their consciences and make them sensitive to God’s Word.

“Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established. Turn not to the right hand nor to the left: remove thy foot from evil.” — Proverbs 4:26–27

Biblical Reflection:

When Rehoboam became king, he first consulted the older advisers who had served his father. He rejected their wise counsel and followed the advice of his inexperienced companions instead. His harsh decision divided the kingdom and caused lasting damage (2 Chronicles 10:1–19). Pray that children will not choose advice merely because it agrees with their desires, but will recognise and follow counsel that is wise, truthful, and godly.

9A. Prayer for King’s Throne Bible Club and Everyone Connected to It

Thank God for King’s Throne Bible Club and for everyone who contributes to its mission in one way or another. Remember the children, parents, guardians, partners, teachers, coordinators, volunteers, technical workers, storytellers, designers, prayer supporters, financial supporters, and leaders.

Pray that every child connected to the Club will know Jesus personally, understand God’s Word, develop godly character, and become a positive influence at home, school, church, and in the wider community.

Pray particularly concerning this week’s lesson, “Changing Your Home.” Ask God to help the children understand that spiritual impact begins within their own families. As they learn from Joshua’s declaration, “As for me and my house, we will serve the LORD,” pray that they will choose to honour God in their homes.

Ask God to make the children instruments of peace rather than sources of quarrelling and disorder. Pray that they will speak respectfully, obey appropriate instructions, forgive quickly, assist with household responsibilities, care for siblings, tell the truth, and demonstrate the character of Christ to their families.

Pray for homes affected by conflict, financial pressure, sickness, separation, addiction, or spiritual darkness. Ask God to use the children’s prayers, conduct, and faith as channels of healing and positive change, while surrounding them with responsible adults who will protect and guide them.

Pray for parents and guardians. Ask God to provide for their needs and give them wisdom, patience, unity, spiritual strength, and grace to lead their households by example.

Remember every partner and supporter of the Club. Ask God to bless and replenish them, prosper the work of their hands, protect their families, and increase their capacity to serve.

Pray for the Club’s teachers, leaders, and workers. Ask the Holy Spirit to give them wisdom, accuracy, creativity, purity, strength, and unity. Pray for the Club’s platforms, finances, programmes, lesson production, year-end activities, and continued expansion into more countries and communities.

Bible Verse:

“And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve … but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.” — Joshua 24:15

Biblical Reflection:

When the Ark of God remained in the house of Obed-edom for three months, the Lord blessed Obed-edom and his entire household. The blessing became so evident that others heard about it (1 Chronicles 13:13–14; 2 Samuel 6:11–12). Pray that the presence and influence of God in every child will bring visible peace, righteousness, unity, and blessing into the home.

9B. Personal Supplication

Present your personal needs, decisions, struggles, responsibilities, and expectations before God. Speak to Him about your family, children, health, education, work, business, ministry, finances, relationships, and future.

Ask God to guide you where the correct path is unclear. Pray for strength where you feel weak, discipline where you have been inconsistent, wisdom where you carry responsibility, and restoration where you have made mistakes.

Ask the Lord to reveal any habit, relationship, attitude, or decision that could lead you away from His purpose. Pray for the humility to receive correction and the courage to obey His direction.

Commit every pending request to Him and trust Him to provide the right answer at the right time.

Bible Verse:

“And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it.” — Isaiah 30:21

Biblical Reflection:

When David faced the Philistines, he asked God whether he should attack, and God gave him victory. When the enemy returned, David did not simply repeat his previous strategy. He enquired of God again and received a different instruction for the new situation (2 Samuel 5:17–25; 1 Chronicles 14:8–17). Ask God for specific direction in every matter rather than depending only upon past experience or personal assumption.

10. Thanksgiving for Answered Prayers

Thank God for hearing every prayer offered for children, families, refugees, trafficking victims, those facing addiction, and those suffering from bullying or harmful influences.

Praise Him for children He is rescuing, healing, protecting, guiding, and restoring. Thank Him for adults who are learning to listen, parents who are receiving wisdom, families being strengthened, and children growing in responsibility and sound judgment.

Thank God for King’s Throne Bible Club and for the transformation His Word is producing in the lives and homes of the children. Praise Him for answers already received and for interventions that are still unfolding beyond what we can presently see.

Declare your confidence that God remains faithful, His mercy has not failed, and He is able to complete every good work begun in the children.

Biblical Reflection:

After God delivered David from Saul and his other enemies, David composed a song of thanksgiving. He remembered the dangers he had faced, acknowledged that God had heard his cry, and gave the Lord all the credit for his rescue and victory (2 Samuel 22:1–7, 47–51). Conclude this prayer session by thanking God in faith for every rescue, direction, provision, and answer.
